| Parish Councils |
|
There are over 9,000 parish and town councils in England and they form the tier of local government closest to the people. |

| District Council |
|
District Councils are responsible for a wide range of important services likely to impact directly on your life, from licensing and housing to abandoned cars and local planning. |

| Cumbria County Council |
|
Cumbria County Council is the top layer of local government covering a wide range of services for the people of Cumbria. |
